“Andrew” in Sunday School

 

What a wonderful demonstration of caring. To see our members commit to praying, building relationships and inviting last Sunday was inspiring. Now, our task is to encourage and support each other in our commitments to be an “Andrew.”

 

Through our Sunday School groups we have that support system in place. Each group now needs to do the ministry of “Focus.” First, focus on prayer, pray for each other as we go about our OA (Operation Andrew) ministry. Also pray together for those on OA lists, we may not know them by name yet, but pray because God does. Next, focus on encouragement. In your group, offer opportunities for testimony of how others are doing with their OA ministry. Share success stories and special needs to build up your group as an OA team. Finally, communicate with our leaders about people who want to get into our church ministries. We are starting new Christian groups and are looking to start new Sunday School groups as well.

 

Building the Kingdom is our main goal. We can do this work as we build up each other. We can be orderly in the process as we build up our groups and begin new groups.
